Chef Brandon grew up in Elk Grove, California with aspirations of becoming a Chef since an early age. After high school, Brandon left his home town to explore Los Angeles as he attended Cal Poly Pomona studying Hotel Restaurant Management. He then moved on to the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, California before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona to finish his culinary education at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute.
Over the years Chef Brandon has worked at restaurants, resorts, and country clubs from Bandera, The Boulders Resort, Nugget Markets, Red Hawk Casino, Rancho Murrieta Country Club, Woodbridge Golf and Country Club, The Chevy Chase Club to the Metropolitan Club of The City of Washington, D.C where he is currently the Executive Sous Chef.
Throughout the years Bandon has always loved to explore cultures and the origins of food. This has sparked something in him to create this blog and share his journey as he discovers new and exciting things through Grow it….Cook it….Eat it Another Chef’s Day Off.
